# Getting Started

To begin using Moonwell, the first step is to connect a wallet.

Moonwell is deployed on the Base, OP Mainnet, Moonbeam, and Moonriver networks, all of which are Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible. This compatibility ensures that a broad spectrum of wallets can support Moonwell.

Upon [wallet connection](/moonwell/moonwell-overview/getting-started/wallet-connection.md), users will have full access to the functionalities of Moonwell, including lending, borrowing, and staking.&#x20;
